eLitmus pH test for freshers

       eLitmus has became more famous in conducting pH test for the fresh graduates in India. They will evaluate candidates across India and to provide a standard benchmark against which companies can compare them.


Who can apply

Candidates having/pursuing a degree in BE/B.Tech, MCA, ME/M.Tech or M.Sc(CS/IT) can apply for the pH test.

Test Pattern

Test duration : 2 hours
No of questions : 60

It will be asked from 3 categories,


20 : Problem solving
20 : Verbal ( You need to read the paragraph and answer the questions )
20 : Quantitative ( Data interpretation )

Four options will be provided for each question. Test will be conducted online.

Payment methods

Fresh graduates appearing for the test has to pay Rs 920/- as a test fee.

They can pay online or send a DD or in cash at Bangalore eLitmus office.

By Online: If you have a credit card or online banking facility, you can pay the test fee online. To pay, go to the 

Tests --> My Tests ? and Click on “Payment Options” link and choose the “Pay Online” option. 

Once you click “Pay online now” you will be directed to our payment gateway.
You can pay via Credit card, Net Banking account of the listed banks, PAYMATE facility of CitiBank or Itz cash cards.

By Demand Draft(DD): Candidates need to send a demand draft drawn in favor of "eLitmus Evaluation Private Limited" and payable at Bangalore. They need to mention their Name and Registration Id on the backside of the DD.

By Cash: Cash is only accepted in the Bangalore office. Candidates need to get their pH test registration id.

Candidates need to carry the below documents to the test center

Original documents will only be considered.

1) Xth, XIIth, Graduation/Post graduation marksheets (Final year students need to carry the marks sheets available till date).
2) Government issued Photo identity card (like Driving license, passport, Voter Id card etc).
3) eLitmus Admit Card with photo pasted.

Your pH Test score will be withheld if the above credentials are not verified at the time of test.

Where to see the pH scores

pH scores are declared in your account within 10 working days of your pH test date.

Visit Tests --> Score section to view the score in your eLitmus account.

You have a chance to retake the test 

If you haven't scored well in my pH test at your first attempt, you can re-appear for the test. There is no restriction on the number of times you can take the pH test. Your three latest pH test scores will be visible to the companies. The best of them will be considered for shortlisting.

When to take pH test

It is good to take at pre-final year or final year of your B.E/B.TECH degree.

While preparing for the pH test you can refer to any standard MBA entrance exam material/aptitude materials.

Does eLitmus guarantee jobs?

eLitmus does not guarantee jobs. A good pH score can get you interview calls, beyond that, it entirely depends on how you perform in the technical rounds of the interview process.

The story of eLitmus

Sandeer Sehgal, Aseem Marwaha and Shireesh Jayashetty, former employees from Infosys founded the company eLitmus Evaluation Private Limited on 28th March 2005.

It helps companies for hiring freshers for the entry level jobs. In its first year of operation, 53 companies hired sufficient candidates through pH test. The first pH test is conducted across 11 cities in India on 24th April 2005 and 930 fresh graduates participated in this test.

In the year 2012, eLitmus acquired Professional Aptitude Council from San Francisco who had launched GILD.
